From the Archives: Ted & Lillian

Ted and Lillian’s story was the very first episode of Canadian Love Map and it remains one of our all-time best.

In this special rerun from our best of love map, we celebrate their 52-year marriage: a love that began as childhood friends in Halifax, survived years apart on different continents, and flourished through military postings, life in Montreal and Germany, and a home in Halifax that welcomed everyone. Through Ted’s memories of his fearless, independent “Chief” and the rituals he still keeps to honour her, this episode is a tender portrait of a love that endures beyond a lifetime.
