    In the summer of 2019, videos started appearing on TikTok that made viewers sleep with the lights on. A woman in a white dress, dancing alone on empty streets. Nothing that unusual—except her movements were wrong. Joints bending at angles that made your stomach turn, limbs jerking like a marionette with cut strings, bare feet slapping pavement with mechanical violence. The videos spread like wildfire, spawning thousands of recreations, alleged sightings, and one of the internet's most disturbing urban legends: the Serbian Dancing Lady. Unlike most creepypasta that admits its fictional origins, this legend lives in an uncomfortable space between digital folklore and street-level terror. People in Belgrade claim to have seen her. Videos purport to show real encounters. I have been searching for more podcasts that are paranormal, supernatural, and spooky that cover urban legends, lore, and encounters with the unexplained (as well as explaining more about the history behind such), and Freaky Folklore is definitely one of my favorites! For me, it's the kind of podcast I love to dim or turn off the lights, or light a candle, to listen to and imagine myself possibly encountering something so strange to ask myself what my reaction would really be in whatever situation it is. Definitely worth listening to!

I love how the narrator's voice adds to the stories vibe! They are great to listen to and honestly spook me out. I love the history aspect to it and how the story is also very spooky. All around in my humble opinion this is a great podcast if your into being intrigued and spooked!!
