Franklin to Blacksburg, Panthers to the Penthouse? (Week 12 Preview)

Week 12 is here, and the NFL is in full “Are we sure this is real?” mode. Derek and Caleb kick things off with James Franklin landing at Virginia Tech before diving into the big question of the week: How on earth are the Carolina Panthers 6–5? Derek tries to make sense of it; Caleb throws narrative flags all over the field.

Then it's elimination season once again, with another round of teams getting the boot while others punch their playoff tickets faster than Denver stacks wins. The guys check in on their preseason over/unders (one of them was VERY right about Washington), run through Stockwatch — including Derek naming Jacoby Brissett the official backup of America — and Caleb buying long-term Schottenheimer stock like he knows something the rest of us don’t.

This week’s Game of the Week features the Bucs and Rams, with Puka and Winfield Jr. front and center. And of course, it wouldn’t be Week 12 without another round of Brodie Bets, where both hosts are either heating up or melting down (sometimes simultaneously).

It’s football chaos, seasonal delusion, and mid-November optimism — everything Week 12 should be.
