Forgotten Voices

In this episode, host Isabella Naiduki shares about her grandfather's influence with her love for creative writing. She speaks about forgetting his voice and that of her mother's and the memories that come with trying to remember their voices. Isabella also shares a spoken word piece called Dark Thoughts that she wrote when she lost her mother and how she used creative writing to help with peeling away the layers of grief that came with the loss.
