Finishing Well, Persevering in Christ

As the year draws to a close, Scripture calls Christian men not merely to start strong, but to finish well. In this episode of Warriors of Grace, Dave Jenkins concludes the series Challenges Men Face Today by exhorting men to persevere faithfully in Christ. Drawing from Hebrews 12:1–2 and 2 Timothy 4:7, this message reminds us that the Christian life is a race marked by endurance, repentance, discipline, and hope. Starting strong is easy. Finishing well requires grace-fueled perseverance. We are called to lay aside every weight and sin, fix our eyes on Jesus, and run with endurance the race God has set before us. This episode encourages men to reflect on the past year, to lay aside distractions and hidden sins, to remain in biblical community, and to press forward with their eyes fixed on Christ—trusting not in their own strength, but in the finished work of the Savior.
