In today’s March Bonus Episode, Ash & Alaina sit down to unpack Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model, the new documentary that takes a long, hard look at ANTM, the world of reality TV, and the price paid by young contestants chasing swift fame.
This isn’t a criminal case but it is Morbid: power dynamics, exploitation, public scrutiny, looking back with adult hindsight… so, yeah, we had to discuss it!

I subscribed specifically for an ad-free listening experience, yet the podcasts still contain multiple ads throughout each episode. Marketing something as “ad-free” while delivering ads feels misleading and dishonest. If customers are paying a premium to avoid commercials, the expectation should be exactly that: no ads. Right now it feels like false advertising and a downgrade from the experience I previously had. Ads smash that rhythm like someone flicking the lights on and off in a concert hall.Kind of like ordering a “quiet room” in a hotel and discovering the hallway hosts a tap-dancing convention. 🥿
Paid for “ad-free” listening and immediately got ads
