    EJ Johnston, Founder And CEO Of 3ICE, Joins The FanPower Podcast To Talk About His Inspiration For Starting A New Sports League, The Importance Of Fan Engagement, And A New Era Of Distribution And Entertainment.

    Via LinkedIn: E.J. graduated from Penn State University's main campus in State College, Pennsylvania in 1995 with a degree in Economics.

    After graduation, he returned to the town of his birth, Boston, Massachusetts, and began his career in advertising working for the notable ad agencies Hill Holliday and also Arnold Worldwide. While there, he was offered an inaugural media sales position in the newly formed NewsCorp-Cablevision joint venture, Fox Sports Network, a nationwide cable television, and media network focused on broadcasting sports programming.

    After nearly eight years in Boston, E.J. moved on to New York City to oversee sales and marketing efforts for the newly formed Fashion division within the global sports and media agency, IMG. From there, he moved onto work with one of his clients, Getty Images, the global leader in imagery and media licensing, and became their Business Development Manager for Entertainment.

    Recognizing the need in the international fashion community to form an association uniting the world's best Fashion Week events, he formed The Global Fashion Association. The GFA organized successful cooperation and sharing of best practices across the fashion industry in order to elevate Fashion to the level of Sport and Music as a medium for sharing ideas and culture, building brands, and to be enjoyed as a unique form of entertainment and expression.

    After more than 9 years in New York City, E.J. relocated to Los Angeles to launch a second company, EJD Productions LLC, a television, film, gaming, and event company focusing on the Fashion and Entertainment market sectors. Among other successful TV properties, EJD Productions Created and Executive Produces "Fashion Star", a prime-time television series airing on NBC.

    In 2017, began the process for what is now the 3ICE professional ice hockey league.

    E.J. is an avid sports fan and currently resides in New York City.
