Interesting, good story

The story had a lot of twists and turns- kept me on my toes. One negative- sound quality of some of the people interviewed was not great. Even Michael Connelly himself was hard to hear/understand at times throughout the episodes.

Could not turn it off!

If I had the time to binge all of the episodes I would have! So good.

Not only interesting but well presented. What a story! And it’s true. Really brought the time in history to life.

This is a very detailed podcast and with all the remaining players that were interviewed just added to list how good it is. Hopefully there will be more of this type of podcasts.

Michael Connelly you are an amazing narrator I had never heard of you before. sorry to say my loss. you are a wonderful writer. as I grew up in Southern California and frequented Hollywood at that time to go dancing and clubbing, I know too well what that world was all about and it couldn't have been described more clearly. the highlight of the moment was the entire podcast. having only heard gossip, read what was in the newspaper at that time and really didn't have the whole story, I realize that I have now, as much of the story as I'm probably ever going to get thanks to you. and this podcast and everyone involved. I listen to this before I went to bed at night. I just finished it in the early morning light. glad those times are over now. but there's always another horror story to tell, unfortunately. Scott Thornton has been through the ringer and I hope that he is staying clean. he reminds me quite a bit of my brother who is no longer with us. anyway, I am going to recommend this to everyone I know because I still know all of the people that I knew from elementary school on up, I think they would be very interested to hear this. I wish this was advertised better or that I maybe paid better attention LOL. I appreciate all the hard work everyone put into this. and I'm actually, weirdly, sad that it ended but, I just found out you have more podcasts... yaaay. this was a true pleasure and a gem 💎 hiding in a mass of media. sincerely, an avid, grateful listener..
