The 2008 financial crisis left many people without homes, jobs, and hopes for the future... but pop music was there to save us! In the late 2000's and early 2010s, pop songs often featured themes of letting loose, partying, drinking and forgetting about your troubles. Tonight was THE night and tomorrow was uncertain.
