The Beatles brought a new melodic sense to music and the bands that followed in their wake tried to match their sense of melody and came up with their own interesting results. These are some of the bands that stepped up to match the new sound. There is also a feature on The Rolling Stones when they briefly delved into Psychedelia with great results.
