At their divorce proceedings, John tries to prove to the judge that Tonia is a criminal and drug addict. Tonia must dig for evidence to prove him wrong. She receives a devastating call from John’s sister, who reveals he’s done something which shakes Tonia to her core. Leaving the family dogs with a psychopath

After reading about the family dogs, I just could listen no further. Tanya feared for her life. She heard John’s threats and ranting and raving. I mean, Episode 2 was entitled “I’m Very Frightened”! I fear those dogs suffered greatly and nothing was done to protect them. Why couldn’t they go to Tanya’s parent’s house? There is a disconnect here. A naïveté of epic proportion.
