While pilots were previously kicked out (or at the very least ostracized), personnel are now encouraged to come forward to testify in public (and often un-classified) settings.

Did Cortana truly go away when she was phased out by Microsoft? Or did she (the AI) get absorbed by the Department of Defense / Department of War with the JEDI contract awarded Microsoft Corporation?
