A Morbid podcast afraid to be TOO morbid

I have to say first, I truly love this podcast. I love listening yo you guys and I stayed even after Ash straight up butchered Lovecraft’s Necronomicon lol in one of the early episodes. I do have one other critique, however, this episode in particular seemed like Sparknotes for the book you were promoting throughout the episode. I’m not denying the book is a good read; but the apologetic attitude for the fucked up content you guys cover is a little annoying at times. I know I run the risk of seeming extra fucked up by saying this: but I kinda wish y’all wouldn’t shy away from the nitty gritty. I mean, I think I speak for a few of your fans when I say, you don’t need to coddle us so much. If we didn’t want to know we wouldn’t be here…just food for thought. Thanks for making such a great podcast.
