This episode discusses accelerationism. If you don't know what it is, research it. This was a concern during the protests this summer. There are so many things in this world to focus on, to create and discover. But our (American) past time is violence and always has been. There is something very wrong here and the reason we perfected propaganda. Be kind to each other and just leave people you don't like alone. Why is that so hard?!

Summary of 2020 summer= Accelerationism?

The journalist clearly did his research, talked to everyone involved with an open mind, and was seeking to understand Devon and what made him who he was. Devon's sympathizers leaving single-star comments and decrying "fake news" are just unhappy that someone is calling a spade a spade and are trying to troll Audible and the author.

Morally jaded, preaching of the evil of thoughts, with the only answer to
silence and shame men .... targets young Caucasian males as hateful
and encourages the FBI,as well as any other group to demonize
them. Today, there are far more examples of radical destructive groups than these. That said, the very fact that this interview could occur in and of itself, shows how small that group of men is ... if that same label was applied to antifa or black lives matter or any other such group, his life, his wife, kids, job... would be in danger he could not produce the same work ..... peace

this is interesting, entertaining, and sad. there are certain stories that just don't need to be written or talked about in such detail that will direct people to different sources. the educational content to inform the public does not outweigh the harm that could cause if this info was listened to by vulnerable people. you make it too easy to find places to go to dig deeper. somethings should just be unspoken on popular family oriented platforms.

The story itself is good but I could do without the author's personal commentary and opinions.

This was an interesting podcast. The narrator did a good job. The interviews varied between good and others that could have been left out. Overall a good listen.

Disclaimer: My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed. I only leave 5 stars for books I've listened to multiple times. I'll update my review if I listen again.
