Episode 197: Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders Part 1

Alaina pulls at our heartstrings this week with part one of the Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders. In June of 1977, eight year old Lori Lee Farmer, nine year old Michelle Heather Guse and ten year old Doris Denise Milner headed off to Camp Scott for a two week girl scout experience. Unfortunately someone, or potentially multiple someones, had been lurking around the camp in the weeks leading up to night one. Whoever it was had more than sinister plans to kill the three girl scouts camping out in tent one. In Part One we’ll go over who each girl was, the night of the murders and we’ll end it on a pretty convincing suspect. Don’t bet too heavy on him though, in part two Alaina will bring some evidence to the table pointing away from who we thought was our lead suspect.

I have been binge listening to all your episodes. The topic is horrid but I appreciate you ladies and the grace you have for the victims.

Killer topics...killer story tellers.

I've been hooked on this podcast since I started listening last year. I enjoy the variety of spooky and true crime tales. Also, these ladies have a dark sense of humor that I can relate to. These ladies give thoughtful perspectives on the stories along with giving the victims and the victims' families respect. If you have a morbid curiosity and like a good laugh along the way, then this is a podcast for you.

Foul mouth uninformed women try to tell a story

My wife & I turned on this podcast and were both horrified. This is advertised as a true crime narrative- what it consists of is 2 foul mouth, unintelligent and immature young women riffing on a tragic murder story. They literally can’t get thru 2 sentences of the narrative without dropping the “f” bomb and sharing some vapid, stupid comments about their own worthless lives. Disgusting garbage.

Nothing but Babel

I’m sure the story is very good, but the two narrators do nothing but yak! Get to the goddamn point! I could make it halfway through I won’t be listening to any more podcasts of these two.
