Episode 17: Bucc-Wild with Chrissy Dube

Welcome to the show, peanuts! It’s the first Sunday of the offseason, and we hope you all had a happy and safe Super Bowl weekend last week! We don’t care who won, as long as everybody had fun! To kick things off, Kata and Mike mourn the ending of another NFL season, with Mike putting Kata on the spot while she, unprepared, tries to come up with some Taco Bell mild sauce-style takes for the offseason.

Then, we welcome in a new guest [20:00], to talk Super Bowl with us from a unique perspective. Her name is Chrissy Dube, and she is not only the most beautiful sweet angel to grace this earth, but she’s also family to Kata, AND a healthcare worker at a local Tampa hospital who had the pleasure of attending the game! Chrissy walks us through her Super Bowl experience, her Buccaneers fandom, and some hypotheticals, and then she and Kata critique this season of The Bachelor thus far [44:55] (a listener note: we decided not to comment on the franchise’s latest bout with perpetuating racism, as at the time of this recording, not all sides had contributed responses).
