10/10 Can Confirm It's Called That!
I was born & raised in MA, and I can 100% back Alaina's disclaimer. I don't think I heard anyone use a term for "liquor store" other than "packie/package store" until I was in my teens.
Small me in the 80s used to wait in the car when Dad wanted some beer, wondering what kind of "packages" they had in that store kids weren't allowed into. LOL

At odds
Story definitely needs told. Children should be warned, informed, and scared to knowing the depravity of the human species at a very young age.
What I’m at odds with is multiple times in multiple episodes, both ladies make references to the fact they would ‘kill’ this or that person if they had the chance. Then, they profess approval that there’s no death penalty, so there’s suffering by the guilty, so the families can know the guilty are suffering, etc. I think some people are missing the point of the death penalty. It’s, 1) a safety: it rids the planet of dangerous, incorrigible people that will never provide notable improvement to the world, either in prison or out. It’s, 2) a deterrent: in societies that have used it without fail for any length of time, have noted claims of ‘second thoughts’ just prior to the moment of committing whatever crime. ‘If I do this and am caught, I’m getting the needle, rope, chair. Think I’ll pass.’ A much better deterrent than what’s seen with career criminals, psycho-/socio-paths that know that a conviction is nothing more than free room and board with like minded people. An extended vacation for many.
