Specialist Vanessa Guillen went missing from Fort Hood Military Base on April 22, 2020. She was last seen at the armory and the last person she was seen working alongside was fellow soldier and specialist Aaron Robinson. Weeks before her disappearance, she told those closest to her that she had been dealing with a fellow soldier, a sergeant, that was sexually harassing her and she was ready to report it.

June 30, her dismembered, burned and mutilated remains were found crudely buried in quick cement/earth alongside the Leon River in Belton Texas. Robinson took his own life in an attempt to escape his crime but his girlfriend Cecily Aguilar confessed to her part in the brutal mutilation and disposal of the body of a US soldier. Details of the crime and the following weeks are confusing and suspicious. Is there a coverup? Regardless of the truth, this brings to light the broader issue of reporting sexual assault in the military and Vanessa's family is trying to make sure those that defend our country are safe to report these issues without fear of repercussions.

There are some more great investigative reports that detail how completely inept they were at "detaining the suspect" ON A MILITARY BASE, with ARMED SOLDIERS EVERYWHERE, yet, they ALLOWED him to escape. It was allowed and orchestrated. There is a very good documentary on this that go in detail about every soldier that enabled this- he did not work alone to murder her, he was protected and enabled in every way. The deeper you go into this case the more preposterous this entire thing is...And remember, there are dudes walking around with signs claiming "rape culture doesn't exist- change my mind"🤬🤬🤬

This case is even WORSE

Being an autopsy tech does not make you a forensic expert. And being a hair stylist does not make you anything but a hair stylist. My issue with this one is the statements of ‘do some luminol in there!’ A 30 second interwebs search will show you that numerous things will react with luminol that aren’t blood.
These two consistently pick a stance in these cases and have no problem, even with their lack of knowledge about the science of investigation, vilifying law enforcement. Granted, there are many cases of poor police work, but compared to the countless cases that are open and shut without public knowledge because the investigation was done so well; these poorly executed cases are a fraction of a fraction.
And you wonder why LEOs get lumped together and are given such a bad rap? It’s Ill informed armchair experts talking out their arses.
Keep an open mind and research on your own.
Most of the guilty are just that, but making LEOs en masse guilty too is putting us all in danger.
