wonderful series; great installment

Love this Jim Wallis series and this is a wonderful installment with Rev. Barber. Jim Wallis is an evangelical Christian with a very liberal political perspective. I've heard him lecture in person and this was reminiscent of that. He has a very soothing voice which made this a great series to listen to before bed.

SO encouraging!

At Wheaton College in the early 1980s, we were inspired by books like The Mustard Seed Conspiracy and like Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger, and by speakers like Tony Campolo. We were a generation who followed Jesus in serving the needs of the world, and were excited by God bringing the world to our neighborhoods as refugees and immigrants.

Jim Wallis leads us in that same tradition, and this interview of Dr. Barber calls us all to abandon our enslavement to consumerism and fear, and to act on our commitment to Jesus and his call.

This is not about “liberalism”! This is about obedience.

Left wing ideology

We, the left, include everybody as long as you think and act as we do.

Conservatives beware

I really should have researched this series before purchasing- if your views are liberal then this is for you. I don’t know how a liberal can call himself a Christian and practice the lies and deceit the ‘left’ proclaim as truth
