  • Summary

  • When we meet David Miller, a veteran of the Afghan War, his PTSD from his time deployed has nearly crippled him, with his violent flashbacks continually dragging him back to the most traumatic moments of his tour. However, when David crosses paths with a shadowy organization called Fallen Arrow, it’s revealed to him that his flashbacks aren’t memories, but, in fact, a form of time travel. After an exhaustive and reality warping training, David is successfully turned into a fully deployable time agent.

Political laugh

It’s funny to me whenever a writer tries to put political topics in a book. Because they sound like leftist and act like they are writing about modern issues. But it’s the leftist liberal policies that are causing the issues they speak on. Like the fact trans rights are destroying women’s rights.

Excellent story read by a fantastic cast!

I was completely hooked in the first minute! This story is new and fresh and full of twist and turn to keep you guessing about the plot and the cast does a fantastic job!

Good Story - Production Needs Work

I actually really enjoyed the story, very interesting concept. BUT, there is a reason some things on Audible are "included". The production makes the story very hard to follow in places. Whomever is producing these needs to understand base so high it makes your base driver vibrate is probably too high. And all the background noise during dialog makes the listener have to rewind to make certain they follow which character is speaking which line. And please, the "jump" sound?!? Sounds more like an avalanche.

SPOILER ALERT BELOW!
This doesn't actually end. If there is going to be more to the story, great. But, I might wait until you see there are more than 8 episodes before starting.

I don't need to experience tinnitus

the story is interesting. the actors are good. but my. freaking. goodness. the tinnitus. we know what it is. we don't need to actually experience it. do you know how many of your listeners use headphones? even without the headphones I still cringed every time that sound played. and it played **a lot.**

Storyline

The connection between PTSD and time travel, drawing upon a frequency for the Universe and the past being memories we can access,
interesting and not outlandish ideas.

Great story but plagued with preaching.

A good story but just the feminism and racism is inconsistent. I think both of these fit well for the character and some of the story but at some points it feels dragged out. The racism is hyped up then it falls flat when the main character is put in a situation. Nothing happens. As for the feminism I get it old white men this or that but it’s preaching to get some social points.

Way cool.

Great easy to listen podcast. First 2 episodes about as good as this time-traveling story, not so full of new technologies except for the ‘time machine’ concept equipment, can get. Obviously it’s not the same as a novel. Great cast!

This is a great theory on time

I have been exploring the theory of the A.I. singularity and how you should be able to see ripples in time to predict when it happens. This was years ago. Now it’s all about data scraping through our fractal algorithms. For when you throw a rock on a lake the ripples to not go forward and back in one line, they ripple in a circle around the object. This is how universal time works. It’s great to see someone taking the theory and running with it!
