Good series but the ending disappoints

I found this very interesting and informative. I only have 2 criticisms:
1) they end some of the episodes in a cliff hanger but then confusingly don't address the cliff hanger in the following episode. I actually thought there was something wrong with the order of the episodes because of this..
2) after a year of throughout investigation, you're left wanting a bit more at the end. More conclusions, more opinions, more something. It sort of falls flat in the final episode. I won't ruin it, but there's a sort of big gesture that is implied in the final episode. Unfortunately, either the connection is not made strongly enough or the implication is not really as clear as it seems.

Good woke and very informative nonetheless. Highly recommended!

Thought provoking

As a high school teacher raising a pre-teen boy, this presented so many more questions that I want to explore.

Love me some Jon Ronson

A well thought out and extremely interesting series. Much food for thought provided. Jon succeeded in presenting many viewpoints and covered a great deal - from the beginning of streaming porn to those affected; those who profited and those who did not; societal repercussions, physical manifestations and the impact on mental health are also discussed. Very well done!

Denial is not a river in Egypt

Ronson exposes the online porn industry and a world where technology is shaping our most intimate behavior. Everyone is so open about what they are doing yet in denial about the disappointment in the failure to connect their lives to their hopes and dreams for self determination.

A wonderful story ... life is so complex

Life is so complex, and we never know when the things we do now will have larger ramifications in the future. This narrative helped me to see a glimpse of the larger world ... great job.

Nothing is black and white

A heartfelt look into the world of porn and at the humanity inside it. I'm honestly so disappointed there isn't more to listen to! I loved every episode

Sad truth, and I want to reform society

Although I knew some of these things existed going into listening, I did not know the extent. Also when I heard of the nurse who was fired because he had worked in the adult films I was so very heartbroken. Why can't we give people a second chance, a choice to do something good, and let them carry it out, without treating them like they are less than dirt.

Interesting but lacking

It had so much potential but left me hanging every episode. A bit disappointed but still good.
