Ep 6. Patty Srisuwan: From Shorts to Feature Films (Producing, acting & more!)

In episode 6 of "MBF: Micro-Budget Filmmakers", we are in Thailand and find ourselves chatting with Patty Srisuwan, a film producer, actor and entrepeneur and with short films and a feature already in her creative catalogue.

Amongst other subjects touched on, we chat about what it’s like producing, acting in films when involved in that film in another capacity and various projects & collaborations.

One such project is a recently released short film called, “Crush” - directed by Boris Meshkov - and with a crew which includes an experienced DOP, Natthapon Phanpinij - himself quite a fan of big Thailand-shotting directors like Nicolas Winding Ref - plus other talented individuals.

I was actually fortunate enough to have witnessed a special screening of “Crush” prior to this interview.
