Sir Francis Drake (SFD)

I was thrilled to hear your description of SFD as a reformed slaver. A high school in the ultra woke Marin County community of San Anselmo in Northern California RENAMED the local high school, removing the name Sir Francis Drake, by which it was known for decades.

I guess it never occurred to these morons that the entire area is named after him! Main drag: SFD Blvd, Drake landing etc etc. Now they are tortured by these naming
after calling this to everyone’s attention but can’t afford the blowback of renaming everything! It’s so hilarious now to realize how little they researched this hero!

But then again SF bay area was ready to rename Lincoln, Washington and Diane Feinstein schools during the pandemic. Only crazy Marin pulled it off with SFD!!
