*After 144 magical episodes, we decided to change our name to better show that we stand with the trans community. We are unable to change our name within those episodes, but will be using For Fawkes’ Sake starting at episode 145 and going forward! New name, same magical Harry Potter compare and contrast!*

Join Ellen and Keighty as we continue with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, covering the second half of Chapter Four (Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place) and the corresponding film scenes.

While we love Harry Potter, we do not condone or agree with its creator’s ignorant opinions. We stand with the trans community.

We post weekly podcast episodes comparing and contrasting the Harry Potter books to the movies, Potter Ponderings, a weekly trivia question (that can win you a sticker!), Sorting Hat Stories, and other Harry Potter related fun! Please subscribe and join us as we delve into our favorite book series and the films that brought them to life.

EW DAVID! I really hope that continues throughout the rest of the compare and contrast episodes because it is so perfect! Haha I'm annoyed at the movie for leaving out Bill and Fleur because then their marriage is SO random later on, versus in the book when it makes perfect sense. I thought the squabble with Percy was really important in the book, especially since Mr. Weasly was right about the minister wanting to spy on their family, so that was stupid that it was left out. I really wanted to meet Sirius's mother! Sadly, we were not given that opportunity in the movie. Finally, Ron did not hate Crookshanks; in fact, he respected him! So that comment made no sense in the movie. Thanks for another great episode!
