[Contains explicit content] As industry and the war effort intensified, so did the need for workers, leading to mass migration and unprecedented integration. Higher wages and new opportunities offered job-seekers a chance for a better life in their new boom-towns. But as the U.S. was fighting a war against fascism and oppression overseas, long-held prejudices by white Americans led to a surge in racial violence at home.

my family and all my generations that came before me. NEVER once did anyone in my family bloodline have any slaves or own any slaves EVER!!! so what does that mean? it means everybody the United States as a whole did not condone or take part in white supremacy or any type of racism against African Americans , Indian Americans, or Hispanic Americans no type of racism was ever done or found or ever thought of in my family. we were Christian family that believed in freedom for all and that we were all equal in the eyes of the Lord God Almighty by our creator what you said in this show is very misleading very wrong cuz people will not understand that you are lying and that facts are not true please understand people the fact that they're giving you are not true please look up everything and all the things they say because everybody besides Martin Sheen is lying Martin Sheen does a fantastic job of course

that isn't true The United States as a whole did not practice White supremacy!!!

The racism and hypocrisy addressed in this episode are important topics. However the episode itself felt much much less focused than prior episodes. This one flitted between the logistics of boom towns and the issue of racism without giving enough attention to either issue.

Freedom for all! (*blacks need not apply)
