By Leftists for Leftists

That’s actually a very positive beginning as they recognize (somewhat) the narrowed view of liberal thinking and how the intrinsic attitudes and emotions of liberal-minded people inhibit workable solutions. So they are trying to take a step back from pessimism, blame and guilt as motivators.

(Excuse a paragraph on my world view. We discussed greenhouse warming of the earth in my Jr High science class 50 years ago and brainstormed ways forward. Unfortunately, the politicians and media controlling public consciousness and debate looked the other way. To nutshell the next 20+ years in America, capitalists took over the Republican Party leaving environmental issues to Democrats who demonised nuclear power and (maybe indirectly) prioritized population overgrowth. As a conservative/conservationist, I think liberals make emotional, tokenistic and short-sighted decisions. Since republicans are currently led by greed and rightist attitudes, no one has been championing a good future for earth or humanity.
I’m also amused/chagrined that we live in the safest, securest and most prosperous time in all of human history yet Media fear-mongering has people thinking otherwise.)

So a podcast aimed at the left and maybe the middle is timely. Bill Gates has a good book for more pragmatic listeners/readers.

Great message, great people

Conveying a positive message that’s grounded in real progress is such a refreshing change.

1 Star raters/haters gonna hate, but personally I find this content super useful. Thank you.

Boring

Unfortunately this was just too boring, the hosts were also a bit self-absorbed which made it a tough listen.
