On April 13, 2018, Shannon Mani failed to pick up her brother that afternoon and she was a no show at work. Shannon's parents grew very concerned about their daughter whereabouts because this was not like her at all.  After countless efforts to reach her via texts. A missing person's report would be filed. In hopes of finding their daughter. But, only a few days after her disappearance. Shannon's body would be found, and an unlikely suspect would confess to the crime but only acting in self-defense.
