E3 - Don't Just Tell Me, Show Me

In this episode, we discuss the trap of "I can" vs "I have." Many veterans get coaching to talk about what they can or what they could do instead of finding ways to use the experience they have to describe proof-points that they already have dome many of the elements to make them successful in the role they are applying for. We also discuss ways to use the many resources available today to come into a conversation or an interview speaking the same business language as the interviewer. In this day and age, there's no excuse for coming to an interview for a job field you want to be in without being able to speak as if you are already well attuned to the requirements and language of that role--we'll discuss how.
