  • From High School Football to Business Owner: Taten Uden's Journey
    Apr 13 2026

In this episode of the Dream Catcher podcast, I talk with Taten Uden, a young entrepreneur navigating his path after high school.

Taten shares his entrepreneurial journey, future plans, and insights on mindset, AI, and personal growth.

We also delve into Taten's insights on entrepreneurship, overcoming fears, and the significance of making connections in today's world.

    BIO

My name is Taten Uden, I’m 21 years old and I’m from a small town in Nebraska called Kenesaw, where I grew up around farming, hard work, and a tight-knit community of about a thousand people. I’ve always been someone who thinks a little differently—I was that kid taking things apart, trying to rebuild them, and constantly asking how something could be improved. I played sports growing up, football being my favorite, and spent a lot of time outdoors hunting, fishing, and at the lake. I went to a Christian school and have always been surrounded by that foundation, which shaped how I see purpose and helping others. I did well in school, not because I necessarily wanted to, but because I had to—I did just enough to keep my parents happy. I didn’t fully fit the normal path, and I think that pushed me even more to think for myself and figure out what I was really meant to do.

At the core of who I am, I’ve always felt like I’m meant to build something that actually helps people. I’ve always had this idea that I need to invent things or create solutions—that’s how I want to make my money and most importantly, make an impact. That mindset led me to what I’m building now, TJKrank and AgriStax. TJKrank is based on products designed to make unloading a pickup bed or trailer faster and easier, something I originally came up with back in 8th grade, working for a lawnmowing company, but didn’t know how to act on at the time. AgriStaX is focused on helping farmers and landowners stack programs and opportunities so they can get more out of their land without needing more of it. A lot of this became real for me after going through a rough stretch—losing my job and dealing with uncertainty forced me to face that question a lot of people hear: “what’s next?” Instead of going back to something safe, I decided to bet on myself and lean into that drive I’ve always had. Now I’m building both from the ground up, focused on creating real solutions that make a difference, because at the end of the day, I don’t just want to make money—I want to build something that actually matters and actually makes a difference.
