It's a hot 🔥 story

It's a story that should have been already added to the original Harry Potter series & it's better than Ron & Hermione, watching the movie I've always liked them better as friends. This makes me wonder if it would have given her more depth in the series.

I just found this podcast and I'm sad there hasn't been any updates in a while. highly recommend though for people who love Harry Potter stories

Excellent narration, but asking for donations for fanfic (especially fanfic you didn't write) is NOT okay

I love being able to listen to Dramione goodness while doing housework. I've been meaning to read All You Want for a while now, so being able to listen to it while I do the dishes and fold laundry is awesome. Amber has a very sensual and soothing voice. She's an excellent narrator and should definitely look into doing audiobooks.

However, I feel like the following has to be said. Around chapter 14 of All You Want Amber began plugging her Ko-fi donation page at the end of each chapter, sometimes at the beginning as well. I am of the opinion (as is the majority of the fanfic community) that monetizing fanfic in *any* capacity is wrong.

When anyone (be they the fanfic author or an audio narrator) financially profits from fanfic it creates legal means for the owner's of the IP to sue them. If too many writers or narrators accept donations for their work it could start a massive legal crackdown on fanfic, which is exactly why AO3 will not allow links to an author's Patreon, Ko-fi, etc to be posted in fics.

If we want to be able to continue to write and read all these fantastic stories about our favorite characters then everyone in the community needs to make sure fanfic remains a totally free labor of love, and I say this as both a fanfic author and reader. It needs to be understood that we are playing with characters that do *not* belong to us, thus we have zero right to gain financially from them.

Amber not only continuously asks for donations for narrating fanfic, but it's fanfic she didn't even write! None of that is morally okay (IMO). If it hadn't been for the donation plugs I would have given this podcast a glowing five star review, because it really is well done. However, I had to knock off a few stars for the shameless monetization.

I highly encourage anyone listening to this podcast to ignore the donation requests and to listen for free. When Amber narrates her *own* original work she can ask for donations all she likes, but doing that with fanfic is downright sleazy.
