Simon has recently moved into film and television with the film version of THE FATHER, which won Oscars for Best Screenplay (Florian Zeller) and Best Actor (Anthony Hopkins). Simon and I discuss the challenges of creating stage versions of books that were first adapted as movies; bringing those LIFE OF PI animals to life on stage; bringing LIFE OF PI to Broadway; Simon's most memorable theatre experiences; feeding the baby (live!); and, as always, loading the dishwasher.
