  • 38: MISSING: Kadin Black
    Apr 29 2024
On December 20, 2022, Kadin Black, a beloved 19-year-old son and brother, was reported missing in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. His family hadn’t heard from him for three days, and he had failed to show up at his dad’s house for a pre-planned get-together, which was out of character. The police immediately launched an investigation into Kadin’s disappearance, but there was no sign of him anywhere. It’s been just over 16 months since Kadin went missing, and investigators are still searching for him…

19-year-old Kadin Black last contacted his family on December 17, 2022. His phone connected to the WiFi at the Foust home on Vickilee Drive in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, at around 9:30 am on the 18th. At that time, his phone also pinged in the same vicinity. After 9:30, his phone was either turned off or died. No sign of Kadin has been found since then.

Kadin is a light skinned Black male with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5’10”, 160 pounds, and has an athletic build. It’s unclear what he was last wearing.

A Facebook page named "Find Kadin Black" has been created for people to learn additional information and keep Kadin’s name circulating.

Anyone with information should contact the Lower Windsor Township Police Department at 1-717-244-8055.

In the early morning hours of April 18, 2016, Missy Bevers, a 45-year-old beloved mom, wife, fitness instructor, and so much more, was murdered inside Creekside Church of Christ in Midlothian, Texas. When police checked the surveillance footage, they learned that Missy had been viciously attacked by someone wearing tactical gear, and carrying a hammer. Despite the killer being captured on camera, no suspects have ever been identified. It’s been just over eight years since Missy was killed, and investigators are still searching for the person responsible…

Missy Bevers was murdered at some point between 4:20 and 5:00 am on April 18, 2016 while she was inside the Creekside Church of Christ in Midlothian, Texas.

Derrick is one of my favorites in every format!

Very knowledgeable and respectful; detailed. Derrick is one of my 3 favorites in any format, one of the other 2 being Stephanie Harlowe, who he does Crime Weekly with. Kendall Rae is right there too. I appreciate all of your thoughtful work, Derrick!

Awesome Person, Awesome Podcast

I found Derrick through crime weekly. I will be a faithful follower of anything he or Stephanie does! I love how they make true crime with a purpose rather than just sensationalizing other people's tragedy. Your work is intended to help people whether to help solve cases or help others learn how to protect themselves. I am a huge fan and will continue to follow every episode.

Love it, I can't wait to watch you develop this one as you have all your other endeavors. This is perfect for me to listen to on audible in between books. Sometimes I want something short in between books and this fits perfectly. Thank you and good luck!

Good true crime podcast!

I especially love how Derrick advocate for the victims and their loved ones. Not all true crime podcasters do that. Thank you.
