  • Ep 64: Radical Obedience: The Kind of Yes That Costs You | #DCBG
    Apr 9 2026

In this episode, we’re talking about what it really means to be radically obedient to God.Not halfway. Not when it’s convenient. Not when it makes sense. But the kind of obedience that costs you something. We’re unpacking the truth that obedience isn’t partial compliance… and it’s definitely not something we can delay until we feel ready. Because the reality is, delayed obedience is still disobedience.Through 1 Samuel 15:22, we’re reminded that God doesn’t just want our sacrifices, our good intentions, or our effort… He wants our obedience. And if we’re honest, that kind of surrender can feel uncomfortable.Because radical obedience will challenge your comfort. It will go against culture. It will stretch you beyond fear.It may even require you to release relationships, timelines, and personal plans you thought were set in stone. But on the other side of that obedience… is alignment, purpose, and the will of God for your life.So the question is… are you willing to obey God, even when it costs you? 🤍If this episode speaks to you, share it with a friend who’s navigating obedience in this season 🖤🎟️ DCBG LIVE EXPERIENCECome hang out with us in person on June 13 in Atlanta! In this episode of Dear Christian Black Girl, we’re having an honest conversation about doubt… and the choice we actually have in it.

Lately, I’ve been in a season where God is not allowing me to hide or shrink when it comes to the baby conversation. And if I’m being real, it hasn’t always been easy. But over the past few weeks, He’s been so intentional—sending the right people at the right time to encourage me, pour into me, and remind me of what He said. The kind of moments that only make sense between me and Him.

We talk about what it looks like to be in that tension… where your reality doesn’t fully match the promise yet.

And we also get into this truth: doubt isn’t something that just happens to us. It’s a choice. And if it’s a choice, that means we don’t have to choose it.

We can choose faith. We can choose to believe what God said.We can choose to declare His promises—even when it feels uncomfortable.

If you’ve been in a season where it’s been easier to doubt than to believe, this conversation is for you.

  • Ep 60: 2025 in Review: What God Taught Us About Obedience, Influence & Identity | #DCBG
    Jan 2 2026

In this special year-in-review episode, Geri and Tiffany reflect on the lessons God taught them throughout 2025—lessons that stretched their faith, challenged their obedience, and reshaped how they view influence and identity as Christian entrepreneurs.

They talk candidly about what it looks like to obey God when His instructions don’t make sense, to trust Him when life feels chaotic, and to anchor their confidence in who God says they are—not in numbers, platforms, or outcomes. This conversation is especially for the Christian woman building something God-led in a culture that often prioritizes visibility over obedience.

Geri and Tiffany also dive into the responsibility that comes with influence, particularly for Christian content creators. They discuss the importance of creating content God’s way, stewarding platforms with integrity, and being willing to walk away from opportunities, partnerships, or paths that don’t align with God’s vision—even when it costs you.

If 2025 required you to let go, trust deeper, show up differently, or realign your business and content with God’s voice, this episode will remind you that obedience is never wasted and alignment is always worth it.

This conversation is encouragement for the woman who’s building, believing, and becoming—God’s way.

  • Ep 58: YOU Are What’s Holding You Back, Sis! | #DCBG
    Dec 17 2025

Sometimes the thing standing in the way of what God wants to do… IS YOU, SIS!

In this episode, Geri and Tiffany sit down for an honest, no-shame conversation about accountability, delayed obedience, fear, and the quiet ways we get in our own way. They talk about what it looks like to stop blaming timing, circumstances, or other people—and instead take responsibility with grace.

This episode is a reminder that God hasn’t run out of time in 2025. There is still room for Him to move—but freedom often begins when we’re willing to be honest about the part we’ve played. Not to condemn ourselves, but to grow, heal, and move forward differently.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, behind, or disappointed in yourself, this conversation will help you reframe the delay and step into freedom with clarity and hope 🤍
