The poem & explanation! Amazing!
Wow!!!! When breaking it up the way you did, explaining it makes so much simpler and beautiful. The poem your mom had/has about a woman to a man is overwhelming beautiful. I love it! Thank you for taking the time to explain the Bible to us. I’ve been a catholic for 41 years and I’ve never read the Bible. I want to learn more and I am very dedicated to the lord in prayer, my church, my community and living better. However, THIS is missing and I am so motivated to listen to it ALL. Blessings!

His passion for the contents
I’m not a believer. But I was brought up catholic. Went to catholic school. Loved and hated it. Monsignor O’Riley was the best memory of school. Now in my late 50s I stumbled upon this podcast and decided to listen. Fr. Schmitz makes listening easy and interesting and his passion for the content is undeniable. Still I’m skeptical but I’m giving it a go because of him and the ease of hearing it in a podcast. If I had to go to church it simply wouldn’t happen.

I've been struggling to remember my favorite scriptures but I just don't have time to read the Bible the way I did in my 20's so I turned to audible. I think I have over 1000 books purchased but never the Bible in audible. I searched "Bible" and only came up with 3 choices. (audible - you really should have more) but I sampled each. This one was skeptical but I gave it a go. Reading along with my kjv actual Bible to check for accuracy (beware of false teachers and all) the language is updated to modern words but the scripture is very accurate. Then after the reading the insight was so powerful and moving I remembered why I was Christian to begin with. thank you for helping me renew my faith in just one episode. I will be purchasing the companion book - not just downloading the free one and I will finish the entire podcast. thank you! you are truly doing God's work. I pray his blessings follow you.

beautiful!
This is the most beautiful and poetic reading/explanation of the creation story! I've never thought about the profoundness of the order in which creation was laid out.
