    Blayne Alexander and Andrea Canning discuss Andrea’s episode, “The Night of the Nor’easter.” In 2022, Karen Read was charged with killing her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O’Keefe, by drunkenly backing her car into him in blizzard conditions. She says that never happened, and her defense – that she was being framed as part of a police cover up – gained national attention and sparked demonstrations and protests at the courthouse. Andrea talks about covering Read’s high-profile trial this summer, and what it was like interviewing Read’s defense attorney, Alan Jackson. Later, Andrea shares a podcast-exclusive clip from her conversation with one of John O’Keefe’s family members. Love that I can listen on Audible

Love that I can listen on Audible and not have to be in front of the tv! I can put in my ear buds and get lots done while hearing a good true crime! way better than tv!

put together well as usual Dateline. great job

I found it odd that Bob Markham had a buddy run her name in the next day and FBI agent gotta hold of him to say he was investigating her disappearance.. Why wouldn't the FBI agent call her dad during the investigation of her disappearance?

Crooked Cops, Ignorant Jury

The DA should be in prison, along with the officers involved i the investigation. The jurors should sent back to elementary school, since they lack basic intelligence.

Best True Crime Podcast Hands Down

I absolutely love this Podcast. I use this Podcast in the morning on my drive to work and in the afternoon driving back home. The narrator's voice is perfect. It almost feels like you're watching the show on television without the visual. I also really enjoy how it does not sound like a documentary but it's still very intriguing.
