JUST2 steps up for Data Transmission Radio with a Solid Grooves-ready selection Romanian groove operator JUST2 joins us on the latest Data Transmission Radio mix, fresh from his return to Solid Grooves Raw with the new single ‘Close Your Eyes’. A steady name within the Solid Grooves orbit over the last few years, JUST2 has built his reputation on tight, rolling club tools. No gimmicks. Just groove. His productions have landed in the bags of DJs like The Martinez Brothers, Marco Carola, Luciano and Richie Hawtin, and his sets carry the same heads-down energy that’s made him a reliable name across underground dancefloors. The new single ‘Close Your Eyes’ continues that run on SG Raw, leaning into darker territory with punchy drums, crisp percussion and a low-end built for late-night rooms. For this week’s mix, JUST2 brings that same energy straight into the Data Transmission booth. Expect rolling house, stripped-back tech grooves and a few underground weapons aimed squarely at sweaty basements and packed club floors. Lock in and turn it up. ⚡️Like the Mix? Luke Siekiera is in the mix. The UK producer drops a groove-heavy session for Data Transmission just as we gear up for our next London get-together on Saturday 2 May 2026 at The Horse & Groom in Shoreditch. Expect rolling house, proper club pressure, and a few cheeky edits for good measure. Luke has been carving out a solid lane in underground house and tech house over the past few years. Beatport chart action, support from the likes of Jess Bays, Deeper Purpose, and Claptone, and a run of punchy club weapons have put his name firmly in DJ bags. His sound sits right where Chicago swing meets modern tech house bite. This mix shows exactly why. Early energy comes from Azaad’s ‘Be My Love’ and Josh Baker, Silva Bumpa and Paige Cave’s ‘Feel This Way’, before sliding into deeper rollers like Sidney Charles’ ‘Face Your Fear’ and Jamback’s ‘Metronomic’. There are also a couple of slick Luke Siekiera edits tucked inside, including flips of Avicii & Sebastien Drums’ ‘My Feeling For You’ and Groove Theory’s ‘Tell Me’, both built to turn heads on a packed floor. And the timing couldn’t be better. Luke joins Acid Harry, Loz Seka, Dr SJ, and Danny B when Data Transmission kicks off a brand new event series at The Horse & Groom. Expect Latin tech flavours, driving tech house, and vocal moments built for sweaty Shoreditch dancefloors. Small room, big energy. Even better, tickets are free via Skiddle, and the bar is running 2-for-1 cocktails all night. Get the mix locked in below, and if you’re in London on May 2, come dance with us.

Set the tone. Build the room. Leave space for the night to grow. He’s part of the lineup for the Data Transmission Presents relaunch at The Horse & Groom in Shoreditch on May 2, alongside Acid Harry, Loz Seka, Dr SJ and Luke Siekiera. This mix gives you a feel for where his head’s at musically before the doors open. The selections lean into rolling house and tech house with proper club DNA. You’ve got the groove of Joshwa’s “Time 2 Move”, the bounce of Offaiah’s “Physical”, and the unmistakable lift of Prospa & Cloonee’s “Free Your Mind.” There’s a nod to deeper moments too, like Miguel Campbell’s “Something Special” (Aca x Reda Edit) and the slick vocal energy of Ranger Trucco’s “Need Your Lovin.” Elsewhere, cuts from Esse, RUZE (Max Chapman remix), Ethan Walsh, Kieran Jones & Matt Hudson, and James Hurr & Jay Rah keep things moving with chunky drums and late-night attitude. And tucked in there is Danny B’s own track “Friction.” A little preview of what’s coming next as he lines up his first release on Whore House Records later this year. If you’re heading to the party, this is the warm-up. If you’re not, it might convince you. Press play and get locked in.

  • DT951 - Born Dirty
    Mar 30 2026
Born Dirty steps up for the latest Data Transmission podcast with a mix that moves through the many corners of his sound. The Dirtybird artist has been part of the global club circuit for over a decade, releasing on labels like Mad Decent, OWSLA, Fool’s Gold and Armada while building a catalogue that slips between house, techno, breaks and bass. The mix feels like a snapshot of that journey. It’s packed with Born Dirty originals, remixes and collaborations, including cuts with option4, Shift K3Y, Bellecour and Alina Pash, alongside reworks of Valentino Khan, Go Freak and Will Clarke. His new Dirtybird single ‘Trippy Boys Trippy Girls’ also lands in the tracklist, sitting neatly among a run of exclusive IDs and club cuts that show the hybrid energy he talks about in the interview. Think throwback flavours, club heat and a few unreleased surprises along the way. Exactly the kind of ride you’d expect from someone who’s spent years bending house music into his own shape. ⚡️Like the Mix? Amal Nemer joins the Data Transmission Spotlight Mix series this week as she gears up for the release of her new EP 'Devils', landing 20th March on her own Manifest Records. Born in Venezuela with Lebanese roots, Amal Nemer has been making moves fast since stepping into the scene in 2021. What started with a debut on the legendary Nervous Records quickly turned into a steady run of releases across labels like Moon Harbour, Glasgow Underground, Made In Miami, Farris Wheel and Nervous, alongside Beatport Top 100 entries with tracks like 'Shot Por Mi', 'Suavecito' and 'Amal’s Dream'. Before music took over, Amal trained in architecture, and that attention to structure shows in her productions. Tight drums, rolling low-end and hypnotic grooves sit alongside subtle nods to her Arabic heritage, giving her records a character that stands out in today’s tech house landscape. Her Spotlight Mix reflects exactly where she sits right now. Rolling club energy, sharp percussion and groove-led selections, with cuts from ATFC, Karretero and Cesar Merveille sitting alongside her own productions 'Hipnotizarte', 'Just You' and the upcoming 'Devils'. It’s the kind of set that feels right at home in Miami after-hours, Ibiza terraces or a sweaty basement somewhere deep in Europe. With the 'Devils' EP landing this week and momentum building behind her name, Amal Nemer is clearly one to keep close on the radar. Lock in and turn this one up.

Brands like Nike, Google and Red Bull have all tapped her for events along the way. On the production side, Avi’s music has landed across labels including Hexagon, Spinnin’, Revealed and Black Hole, with support from the likes of Martin Garrix, Diplo, Fedde Le Grand, R3hab and Robin Schulz. If you’ve been following the deeper end of house lately, Tenn’s name will already be on your radar. Her productions balance warmth and precision, and her new single ‘Mystified’, out now on her own Tenn Tonik imprint, leans right into that space. Soulful, 80s tinged, and built around Penny F’s smooth vocal, it’s the kind of record that slips perfectly into a late night set. Tenn has been steadily building her catalogue over the past few years, landing on labels like Nervous, Stress, D4 D4NCE and Armada, alongside collaborations with house legend Todd Terry. The common thread is always groove and control. Nothing rushed, everything placed exactly where it needs to be. That approach carries into this mix. Expect a journey through deep house cuts, rolling grooves and tracks designed for that sweet spot between warm up and locked in dancefloor moments. No tracklist this time around, just a selector letting the music speak. Lock in and enjoy the ride. Listen to Janika Tenn’s Data Transmission mix now.
