Set the tone. Build the room. Leave space for the night to grow. He’s part of the lineup for the Data Transmission Presents relaunch at The Horse & Groom in Shoreditch on May 2, alongside Acid Harry, Loz Seka, Dr SJ and Luke Siekiera. This mix gives you a feel for where his head’s at musically before the doors open. The selections lean into rolling house and tech house with proper club DNA. You’ve got the groove of Joshwa’s “Time 2 Move”, the bounce of Offaiah’s “Physical”, and the unmistakable lift of Prospa & Cloonee’s “Free Your Mind.” There’s a nod to deeper moments too, like Miguel Campbell’s “Something Special” (Aca x Reda Edit) and the slick vocal energy of Ranger Trucco’s “Need Your Lovin.” Elsewhere, cuts from Esse, RUZE (Max Chapman remix), Ethan Walsh, Kieran Jones & Matt Hudson, and James Hurr & Jay Rah keep things moving with chunky drums and late-night attitude. And tucked in there is Danny B’s own track “Friction.” A little preview of what’s coming next as he lines up his first release on Whore House Records later this year. If you’re heading to the party, this is the warm-up. If you’re not, it might convince you. Press play and get locked in.

  • DT951 - Born Dirty
    Mar 30 2026
Born Dirty steps up for the latest Data Transmission podcast with a mix that moves through the many corners of his sound. The Dirtybird artist has been part of the global club circuit for over a decade, releasing on labels like Mad Decent, OWSLA, Fool’s Gold and Armada while building a catalogue that slips between house, techno, breaks and bass. The mix feels like a snapshot of that journey. It’s packed with Born Dirty originals, remixes and collaborations, including cuts with option4, Shift K3Y, Bellecour and Alina Pash, alongside reworks of Valentino Khan, Go Freak and Will Clarke. His new Dirtybird single ‘Trippy Boys Trippy Girls’ also lands in the tracklist, sitting neatly among a run of exclusive IDs and club cuts that show the hybrid energy he talks about in the interview. Think throwback flavours, club heat and a few unreleased surprises along the way. Exactly the kind of ride you’d expect from someone who’s spent years bending house music into his own shape. ⚡️Like the Mix? Amal Nemer joins the Data Transmission Spotlight Mix series this week as she gears up for the release of her new EP 'Devils', landing 20th March on her own Manifest Records. Born in Venezuela with Lebanese roots, Amal Nemer has been making moves fast since stepping into the scene in 2021. What started with a debut on the legendary Nervous Records quickly turned into a steady run of releases across labels like Moon Harbour, Glasgow Underground, Made In Miami, Farris Wheel and Nervous, alongside Beatport Top 100 entries with tracks like 'Shot Por Mi', 'Suavecito' and 'Amal’s Dream'. Before music took over, Amal trained in architecture, and that attention to structure shows in her productions. Tight drums, rolling low-end and hypnotic grooves sit alongside subtle nods to her Arabic heritage, giving her records a character that stands out in today’s tech house landscape. Her Spotlight Mix reflects exactly where she sits right now. Rolling club energy, sharp percussion and groove-led selections, with cuts from ATFC, Karretero and Cesar Merveille sitting alongside her own productions 'Hipnotizarte', 'Just You' and the upcoming 'Devils'. It’s the kind of set that feels right at home in Miami after-hours, Ibiza terraces or a sweaty basement somewhere deep in Europe. With the 'Devils' EP landing this week and momentum building behind her name, Amal Nemer is clearly one to keep close on the radar. Lock in and turn this one up.
