    The Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 in a shootout to win their 11th consecutive game, tying the franchise record set in 2020. The Lightning now sit atop the Eastern Conference standings and are riding the longest win streak of any team this season. JJ Moser scored the lone Lightning goal while Gage Goncalves and Nikita Kucherov both converted in the shootout.

Brayden Point scored a goal but was injured on the play, he didn't return to the game. Head Coach Jon Cooper wins his 600th game in just his 1,005 games. The Lightning now play the Penguins tonight in the 2nd half of a back-to-back.
