  • Why You’re Attracted to Your Trauma (and How to Fix It) ft. Dr. Nikki Coleman | EP. 106
    Apr 2 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

In this powerful episode of Cup of Conversation, we sit down with psychologist, sexologist, and relationship expert Dr. Nikki Coleman for one of our most REAL and transformative conversations yet.

We’re diving deep into the truth about modern relationships—especially for Black women—unpacking the difference between “care love” vs real romantic love, why so many people are dating from a place of survival instead of intention, and how unhealed trauma silently shapes who we choose as partners.

    Dr. Nikki breaks down:

Why you may be attracted to your wounds
The difference between empathy, accountability, and enabling behavior
How attachment styles and childhood experiences show up in adult relationships
Why “stop dating potential” might be the advice you need to hear
The truth about therapy (and yes… why some therapists aren’t for you 👀)
How intimacy actually requires vulnerability—not just communication
When it’s time to give grace… and when it’s time to walk away

This episode gets raw, relatable, and REAL as we talk about:
✨ Feeling unseen and unprotected in relationships
    ✨ Repeating toxic patterns
✨ Doing the inner work vs trying to change your partner
✨ Why love alone might not be enough… or is it?

If you’ve ever questioned your relationship, your healing journey, or what love is supposed to feel like—this conversation is for YOU.

💬 Key Quote: “You are each other’s medicine… but only if you’re willing to heal.”

  • Love vs Reality: What Relationships Really Need | Episode 104
    Mar 19 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Welcome back to another episode of Cup of Conversation — where we have conversations worth having ☕✨

This week, we’re getting a little more intimate… literally and figuratively. From upgrading our set to finally revealing the story behind our NEW sign (y’all… we really thought we got scammed 😭), this episode starts with real-life lessons about trust, risk, and doing things on your own with no backing but faith and hard work.

But then we get into the REAL conversation…

What if love was the only thing that mattered in dating?

    We’re breaking down:

Would relationships last longer or fall apart faster?

Do we actually love people… or just what they provide?

Can love exist without structure, discipline, and accountability?

Are standards shaped by survival… or genuine connection?

Do gender roles still exist if everything is based on love?

    And let’s be real…
    Is love REALLY enough?

We also get into some spicy “Last Sip” questions:

Love with struggle or comfort without love?

Fun but irresponsible vs. responsible but “boring”?

What does “fun” even mean in relationships?

This episode is honest, funny, and a little too real — the kind of conversation that might have you rethinking how you date, love, and choose your partner.

  • Ratchet vs Righteous: The Hallway Phase of Growth | Ep. 103
    Mar 12 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

What happens when you outgrow your old life but haven’t fully stepped into the next version of yourself yet?

In this episode of Cup Of Conversation, T and Coco talk about what it feels like to live in the “hallway stage” of life — that in-between space where your old habits, friendships, and lifestyles don’t quite fit anymore, but the next chapter isn’t fully clear yet either.

From Texas rodeo culture and city-girl vs southern-belle identities to deeper conversations about faith, growth, detachment, relationships, and personal conviction, this episode dives into what it really looks like to learn yourself while evolving.

    We talk about:
✨ Outgrowing the “ratchet” version of yourself
✨ The conviction that comes with personal and spiritual growth
✨ Why nostalgia can keep you stuck in the past
✨ Learning new hobbies and rediscovering who you are
✨ The fear of change, uncertainty, and being single long-term
✨ Letting go of friendships that no longer align
✨ Who we were performing for in our younger years vs. who we are today

If you’ve ever felt like you’re between doors in life, trying to figure out who you really are and what you truly want, this conversation is for you.

    Sometimes growth isn’t a big leap — it’s a hallway.

  • Unlearning Male-Centered Womanhood | Ep 102
    Mar 5 2026

    Send a text

We’ve officially passed episode 100 and we’re still evolving. In this episode of the Cup Of Conversation Podcast, we talk about growth, consistency, and why we’re always tweaking the vibe to see what really sticks. But the real conversation? It gets deeper.

Why do so many conversations with women center around men, marriage, and motherhood? Why is a woman’s value still tied to her relationship status? And at what point did being a wife become louder than being a whole individual?

    We unpack:

    • Are men a necessity… or more of an accessory?
    • Why society still places status on marriage
    • The pressure women feel to prioritize relationships over purpose
    • Why accomplishments like healing, elevating standards, and building confidence don’t get celebrated the same way weddings do
    • How language (or the lack of it) affects the depth of our conversations
    • What it really means to “decenter” men without hating men
    • How we should be raising our daughters to prioritize purpose over validation

We also get personal — from miscarriage conversations people weren’t ready for, to setting boundaries in marriage, to what it looks like to remain an individual even while being a wife and mother.

    This episode is about identity.
Who are you outside of who you’re connected to?
What do you lead with when you introduce yourself to the world?
And are we teaching the next generation to seek fulfillment… or just a ring?

As always, we’re having conversations worth having.

Make sure you like, comment, and subscribe. And tell us in the comments:

  • Attraction vs Entitlement, Self-Control & The “Men Are Just Like That” Debate | Episode 101 (Part 2)
    Feb 26 2026

    Send a text

We’re back with Part 2 of Episode 101, and this one gets REAL.

In this continuation, we dig even deeper into the conversation around attraction, entitlement, and whether men and women can truly maintain platonic friendships without crossing boundaries. Is attraction natural? Of course. But does attraction automatically mean access? That’s the real question.

    This episode unpacks:

Can men and women genuinely have platonic friendships?

Is it self-control… or “that’s just how men are”?

Does biology play a role in desire?

Where do morals, upbringing, and discipline come in?

What does respect look like when nobody’s watching?

Are women making too many excuses for men?

And… are men the prize too?

    We also talk about:
    Boundaries in relationships
    Emotional intimacy vs physical intimacy
    How transparency protects everyone’s choices
Why self-respect sets the tone for how others treat you
And how both men AND women may be “losing the plot” when it comes to roles and expectations

This episode is layered — from marriage perspectives to single life dynamics, from biology vs behavior, to whether women should stop trying to “understand” men and start choosing themselves instead.

At the end of the day, it all circles back to one thing:
    Self-control. Self-awareness. Self-respect.

And yes — we close it out with a spicy “This or That” you don’t want to miss.

    If you’ve ever questioned:
    “Is it really biology?”
    “Are we excusing bad behavior?”
    “Can platonic friendships survive attraction?”

    This conversation is for you.

  • Boundaries, Lust & Platonic Friendships – Can Men and Women Really Just | Ep. 101
    Feb 19 2026

    Send a text

Welcome back to Cup Of Conversation Podcast — where we have conversations worth having.

In Episode 101, Chitchat Coco and Tee dive straight into the tension between respect, attraction, and self-control in modern relationships.

    We’re asking the real questions:

    • Is it a red flag if your man follows OnlyFans-type pages but claims to respect women?
    • Are boundaries insecure… or necessary?
    • Can men and women truly have platonic friendships?
    • Is attraction biological… or a discipline issue?
    • Are we protecting relationships — or avoiding impulses?
    • Do women play a role in how they’re perceived, or is society to blame for oversexualization?

Inspired by comments made by Cam Newton on platonic relationships, this episode unpacks self-control, standards, lust culture, respect, and accountability — on BOTH sides.

This is not surface-level talk. This is the uncomfortable middle.

    If you’ve ever questioned:
“Why does he need to follow that?”
“Can men really separate attraction from friendship?”
    “Is this insecurity… or discernment?”

    Press play.

  • Cheers to 100 Cups of Conversations | Ep. 100
    Feb 13 2026

    Send a text

100 Episodes Later… Let’s Talk About Support vs Accountability

We made it to 100 episodes.

From navigating real-life rough patches behind the scenes to building consistency on camera, this milestone means everything. Before we get into the debate, we take a moment to thank God, thank each other, and most importantly thank the supporters who keep coming back every week. The returning viewers. The consistent 40–50 that turned into growth. We see you.

Then we get into the real conversation.

Should we blindly support Black-owned businesses just because we’re Black?

Is it loyalty… or is it accountability?

In this episode, T Boss and Chitchat Coco break down the tension between entrepreneurs and consumers — especially within minority-owned businesses. We talk about:

    • Feeling guilty as a customer for speaking up
    • When criticism becomes “blasting”
    • Professionalism vs affordability
    • Raising prices without raising quality
    • Listening vs defending
    • Support vs immunity
    • Why returning clients matter more than hype

We keep it honest. Both sides have work to do. Consumers need to communicate better. Business owners need to tighten systems, professionalism, and scalability. Support should never mean accepting poor service. Accountability should never mean public sabotage.

This is one of those conversations that might make you uncomfortable — but it’s necessary.

If you’re a business owner, this one is for you.
If you’re a customer who’s been scared to speak up, this one is for you.
If you believe we can build stronger businesses in our community, this one is definitely for you.
