  • SNOWBOUND - Murder, She Wrote: Snow White, Blood Red
    Apr 9 2026

Well, homebodies, we have reached the end of our SNOWBOUND theme and hopefully also the end of this brutal New England winter! We are celebrating by watching another episode of Ashley’s comfort show, Murder, She Wrote. But today, we will discuss the MSW episode widely considered the most brutal of all. Dare I say, this is the closest thing to a “slasher” episode that we get from this show’s very long run. So bundle up and grab one last cup of hot cocoa, as we watch Jessica Fletcher crack another case!

  • SNOWBOUND - Misery (1990)
    Apr 2 2026

It’s now April, but we are still covered in snow over in Haunted Homebody land! Join us as Ashley reveals yet another embarrassing and questionable young adult memory about another wintery Stephen King adaptation, Misery. Is Sara okay after watching *that* scene? You know the one… And were we wrong to assume that the King of Horror could ever be considered cozy? And do we ever actually answer any of these theoretical intro questions? Probably not, but we at least have a lot of fun trying.

  • SNOWBOUND - The Shining (1980)
    Mar 26 2026

There was a time when, asked what our favorite cozy horror movie was, we may have said, first: what is cozy horror? And then, maybe… The Shining? But it is not this day. Today, we will be chatting all about this adaptation of the Stephen King classic, deciding whether we find this movie cozy and whether it still “hits the spot” as a wintery horror rewatch.

  • SCREAM - Scream 6 (2023)
    Feb 26 2026

Can NYC serve as a cozy horror setting? Will a Scream villain’s motive ever truly make sense? How can you have a Scream movie without Sidney? And yet... is this the best movie of the franchise since the original? All great questions, but none better than Gale Weathers asking Ghostface, “Can you hold, please?”

  • SCREAM - Scream (2022)
    Feb 19 2026

OMG! He’s making a requel! That’s right, listeners, we’ve officially entered the requel (or, uh, legacyquel) portion of our Scream journey. We’re back with plenty of meta references, our favorite quotes, and some mixed feelings on bringing back a certain Scream OG villain. Most importantly, should we all have a shrine to Randy Meeks in our homes? (Probably yes.)
