  • Thankfulness Is Not a Feeling
    Nov 29 2025

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, discusses the Thanksgiving Day holiday and how our gratitude on this day should not be based on how we feel about things. He points out that the Bible and God never call us to live a life based on our feelings. Quoting Scripture, it’s pointed out that God asks us to give thanks in all things. He points out how Scripture teaches that God is responsible for the prosperity and the disasters in our lives. Dr. Hall stresses that God is not asking us to be thankful for the problems and tragedies that we experience but is expecting us to acknowledge that he is all-powerful over the universe, the earth, and our lives. Dr. Hall encourages the listeners to celebrate the little things in our lives with exuberance. Can be heard on all podcast search engines and viewed on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/dvYjU2--Wfk.

  • God, Evil and Suffering
    Nov 22 2025

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, uses the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files as a platform to point to the epidemic of child sex abuse in the United States. Dr. Hall points out that God, the sovereign omnipotent all-powerful ruler of the universe, and our lives can heal anything or stop anything! At the same time, it is obvious that there are things that God chooses not to stop or heal. The polio epidemic, babies born without legs and arms due to a drug known as thalidomide, 1.2 million people lose their lives to the Covid virus are all contemporary things that God chose not to intervene into. Even the apostle Paul on three different occasions prayed that the Lord would free him from his source of pain – 2 Corinthians 12:8. His prayer went unanswered. It is widely accepted among psychiatrists, psychologists and researchers that there is no cure for pedophilia. Dr. Hall uses the writings of theologian John Feinberg to tackle the question of what possible good might God accomplish in our lives through suffering and afflictions? Dr. Hall points out that we are engaged in a spiritual war and that God doesn’t always answer our prayers in the way that we want or on our timetable. • Just a Coincidence?
    Nov 15 2025

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, raises questions about luck and chance. He acknowledges that sixty-eight percent of Americans believe in the concept of luck. Dr. Hall asked the listeners whether they think when something happens in their lives, is a just a matter of luck, chance, or maybe just a coincidence. He points out many of the superstitions that Americans have. He uses the story of King Saul trying to kill David to illustrate how a major coincidence saved David’s life. Dr. Hall asked, “Is there such a thing as coincidence in your life as a follower of Christ? Can you just happen to be in the right place at the right time? What about being in the wrong place at the wrong time? Does God control and guide us to the people we meet and even the particular times that these occur?” Dr. Hall closes the podcast explaining that God has a plan for our lives and that nothing is random in God’s economy.
