Christianity vs. Scientific Naturalism

My great sadness for Dr. Hardin

I had never heard of Dr. Hardin. Within the first few minutes I had a strong desire to pray for him. He sounded quite elderly so I opened my browser to look him up and was heart sick to see that he died in 2003. I did not realize how long ago this debate had taken place. Too late I thought, my prayers will be useless. But I will pray for his soul before I sleep tonight anyway. The notion of the futility he must have felt as the end of his earthly existence was approaching without a vision of the future broke my heart.
