China's Psychic Children's Program: Real or Fake

From 1979 into the late 80's China conducted a very public search for children with special psychic ablilities.

Not making much news in the West at the time, and OMNI magazine reporter got an inside scoop.

It wasn't long before the program went underground and similar ones started up in the U.S., Russia and other countries.

Who were these children? What were their abilities? Was it all fake or were there findings real? Where are all those children now and what has been the fall out of these programs?
