Chase Recovery Like You Chased The High | Proverbs 2

We would drive through a blizzard to get high. Why won't we drive 10 minutes to a meeting to get well? 🌨️🛑

In active addiction, we were the hardest working people on the planet. We didn't take "no" for an answer. We hustled. We hunted. We made it happen.

But then we get sober, and suddenly we’re... waiting. We wait for the obsession to lift. We wait to feel better.

Day 2 of "A Proverb A Day Keeps The Police Away" is a wake-up call. In Proverbs Chapter 2, Solomon tells us that Insight and Wisdom aren't going to fall into our laps. We have to dig for them like "prospectors panning for gold." ⛏️💰
