Charles Pinion (American Mummy, Twisted Issues, We Await) joins Bernie and Pete to talk all things filmmaking, 3D horror, and creativity!

Charles is the director of 2014's American Mummy aka Aztec Blood about a group of university students in the New Mexico desert that unearth an ancient mummy, on which one of the students performs a secret, primeval blood ritual.

Charles shares behind-the-scenes stories from the set, the challenges and rewards of working in 3D, and working with "light fairies." We also explore Charles' eclectic career as a filmmaker, musician, and visual artist, touching on his punk roots, VHS underground legacy, and passion for experimental storytelling.

Charles reflects on the creative process, balancing art with work, and what keeps him inspired to keep pushing boundaries in movies, music, and illustration.
