Chapter 38 is all about filling your cup with friends that matter. Derrick starts off his show talking about covering his first USGA Championship and visiting Disneyland last weekend. He also shares his appreciation of seeing rock legends Judas Priest and Alice Cooper.
Derrick interviews Leilani Cancio who is an office specialist for Aspire Health. They will talk about the origins of their friendship which started in high school. Leilani also shares how her mom and grandmother inspire her every day. She also shares her mental health journey plus Derrick shares his Prom dating fail in high school.
Leilani also shares her aspirations of becoming a therapist and how she fell in love with her boyfriend Justin. Plus, Derrick attempts to learn K-Pop from Leilani.
Derrick closes the chapter with his support for the No Kings Protests taking place over the weekend and a tribute to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Guitarist Ace Frehley of KISS.
