The best camping discussion both in and out of the field. Light-hearted chat with two brothers (Ade and Tim) who love all things camping-related. Camping is their happy place.

We started this podcast because we both found that we had very busy lives and we weren't speaking to each other enough. When we did talk, it was always about camping. By putting a podcast episode out every week we make sure we keep in touch. It's as simple as that.

We aren't sponsored and we don't need paid partnerships. This isn't our day job, it's simply a way to keep two brothers connected. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we love making it.

This week on Casual Camping Podcast, Ade and Tim are, quite literally, full of hot air.

The lads are chatting all things air beam tents — those magical inflatable marvels that seem to pop up in minutes while everyone else on the campsite is still arguing with a bag of poles and a set of instructions written by a madman.

Ade has taken the plunge with his first ever air beam tent, and safe to say, he absolutely loves it. There may be a slight hint of smugness as he talks about how quickly it goes up, while Tim sits there wondering why he’s still living in the dark ages with conventional poles and muttering, “I need one of these.”

Of course, they’re also busting a few myths along the way. Are they really sturdy? Do they survive British weather? And do they basically turn your pitch into a giant bouncy castle? There’s every chance Tim is already planning to launch himself at one just to test the theory.

If you’ve ever fancied swapping bent poles, frayed tempers, and the annual “which end is the bedroom?” debate for something a little more… inflatable, this is the episode for you.

Expect laughs, a bit of myth-busting, and at least one wildly exaggerated comparison to children’s party equipment.
