Casper Alliance Church will be exploring some of the prophecies from the Book of Isaiah. The first teaching in the series comes from Isaiah 7:14 and is called "The Virgin Birth Matters"

"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."

Welcome to the Sunday morning teachings at Casper Alliance Church. This week December 30th, Kris Burd, one of core members, finished up the look at the Messiah through the Book of Isaiah in our series "Immanuel". Kris explores Isaiah 53. I hope you enjoy this teaching as much as I did.

He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned—every one—to his own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
