  • Summary

  • Welcome to Carry Me Home, the podcast that goes behind the scenes of public service, to find out what works and what doesn’t, and how city leadership is spending our tax dollars - I’m your host Carrie Nowocin, and I have a passion for public service. Directing my efforts toward helping homeless, veterans, addicts, kids who have aged out of the foster system, there are many people who find themselves up against a wall that they can’t get over. That’s where Carry Me Home Productions comes in. Our charity identifies the gaps and advocates for health and safety. Basically, we help people who can’t help themselves. Our work is sometimes as simple as getting a cup of coffee for someone who can’t order it on their own, to untangling the government red tape that would have yet another veteran living on our city streets. Listen each week to hear the stories of people who assist others, meet some of the people who are benefiting from our services, and find out how YOU can be a champion in your community. On this show we’ll discuss what every one of us can do to pitch in and make a difference, and what it takes to be a personal advocate. The podcast is Carry Me Home with Carrie Nowocin – because home means something different to everyone. Please follow us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you enjoy your shows.
