So I have POTS, which means my nervous system is in fight or flight and doesn’t come down. My body is wound so tight I can hardly move my neck and shoulders, arms, gosh… plus any stressors compound into something worse with no relief. with mere expectations of withholding a job that wants me to quit for how much of a liability I can be due to my health, and upholding a relationship where I wish I could be more than I am, after I have done so much to get diagnosed and on the right medications, and it’s still not enough, I’ve been searching for anything. Anything. My body is too weak for even Yoga. I’ve been battling such an incredible despair.

But, I found Hiedi’s work just yesterday. Her voice itself is so calming, but even more, on her YouTube channel, the amount of detail that she puts into explaining the whys and the hows of the body, and how somatic therapy really works… The concept hadn’t clicked before I heard her explain it. I don’t think people know how monumental her work really is. The ability to experience relief again is huge.

Heidi is the only one you should be learning somatic movements from.
